Having trouble keeping up financially, a college newcomer (Deborah Francois) comes up with a way to make some extra cash on the side - and ends up regretting it while being held in its grip - in this drama from director-screenwriter Emmanuelle Bercot, also known as "Mes Cheres Etudes."

The young woman responds to a much older man's ad for companionship, and though she thinks she'll be stepping into the job only temporarily, she soon finds its lure too strong to resist. Mathieu Demy co-stars. *** (Not rated: AS, N, P)
