Sandra Bullock got back on the hit-comedy path with this tale of a driven publisher who learns her lack of a valid visa will send her back to her native Canada. Her options include finding an American husband fast, so she basically forces her assistant ( Ryan Reynolds, who actually IS Canadian) to become her fiance.

Veteran talent Betty White steals the show as Reynolds' grandmother; Mary Steenburgen and Craig T. Nelson play his Alaska-based parents. *** (PG-13: AS, P) (Also on Blu-ray)
