It's hard to stay together when your husband always is being spirited off to a different time and place. So learns the heroine ( Rachel McAdams) of this adaptation of Audrey Niffenegger's best seller, with Eric Bana as the man fated by genetics to move across the universe at unexpected moments – putting one devil of a strain on his marriage, despite his spouse's efforts to understand. Ron Livingston and Arliss Howard co-star in the romantic fantasy, whose executive producers include Brad Pitt. The screenplay is by "Ghost" Oscar winner Bruce Joel Rubin. *** (PG-13: AS, N)
