'Inside John Lennon'

Many accounts of the late Beatle's life have been told, including the excellent drama "Nowhere Boy," and this unauthorized biography gives additional viewers of the singer-songwriter who would become an icon before tragedy cut his life short in 1980.

Members of his earlier group, the Quarrymen, are among those who comment. So does Allan Williams, the first manager the Beatles had. As might be expected, though, the most telling comments are by Lennon himself in the included clips of him. *** (Not rated: P)
