Judd Apatow, Josh Brolin and Ray Winstone may also be able to vote in the next Oscars

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences issued its annual list of invitees on Monday (June 23), a diverse group that includes "Borat" star Sacha Baron Cohen, action icon Jet Li and newly minted Oscar winner Marion Cotillard.

In all, 105 industry professionals, including animators, publicists and studio executives, received invitations to join the Academy. Those who accept the invitation will be the only additions to the Academy's voting roster.

Invitations have traditionally drawn heavily from the prior year's Oscar rosters. As a result, invites went out to the Jan Archibald and Didier Lavergne, Oscar-winning makeup artists on "La Vie En Rose," plus Oscar-winning "Juno" screenwriter Diablo Cody. Other recent Oscar nominees who earned invites include Ruby Dee, directors Jason Reitman ("Juno") and Sergei Bodrov ("Mongol), composer Michael Giacchino, production designer Jack Fisk, plus writers Nancy Oliver ("Lars and the Real Girl") and Tamara Jenkins ("The Savages").

The Academy is also opening its doors to comedy juggernaut Judd Apatow, Emmy winner Allison Janney, "No Country For Old Men" star Josh Brolin and " Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" co-star Ray Winstone.

"These individuals are all incredibly talented and a credit to the world of filmmaking," says Academy President Sid Ganis. "They exemplify the high standards of the Academy and I welcome each and every one of them to our ranks."

The Academy adopted new procedures in 2004 to cap the organization's size, limited expansion based on death or departure of pre-existing members. Under those provisions, the Academy could have invited 137 members this year.
