Report: Aniston and Vaughn's Real-Life 'Break-Up'

Couple supposedly hid their split for a month

Well, for sure this time, since it comes from an unnamed source close to the couple, it must be true: Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn have called it quits.

The latest update in the celebrity couple's relationship comes from Us Weekly, which got confirmation from a Vaughn associate. The "Wedding Crashers" star reportedly told the source, "It's not common knowledge, but we're not together anymore. We've split up."

The breakup allegedly occurred in early September, just before Vaughn left for London to film "Fred Claus," a holiday comedy about Santa Claus' embittered brother. The actor then cancelled a planned trip Aniston was supposed to take to visit him in London for a Sept. 23 party. This helpful source claims that the relationship started getting rocky right after the supposed June 27 proposal.

But wait, they were never engaged, right? In August, Aniston was forced to speak up when the purported engagement was reported by major media outlets, even CNN.

"When it starts to travel over into the 'Today' show and CNN and supposedly reliable and accurate news programs, then you just go, 'This is insane.' People are getting fed a lot of bull," said Aniston at the time. "I'm not engaged and I don't have a ring and I haven't been proposed to."

So, even if "The Break-Up" co-stars weren't engaged, are they still dating? Or are they apart?

Us Weekly cites another source, this time a friend of Aniston's who confirms, "They're 100 percent done."
