'Veronica Mars' Star Finds Love in 'Rome'
Kristen Bell will star in 'When in Rome' for 'Ghost Rider' director Mark Steven Johnson
The project is written and directed by Mark Steven Johnson, who has most recently been cutting his romantic comedy teeth on projects like "Daredevil," "Elektra" and "Ghost Rider."
According to Variety, Bell will play a successful real estate agent who can't find love in Manhattan. When she goes to Rome for her sister's wedding, she collects coins from a "fountain of love" and is suddenly inundated by potential loves. Hilarity ensues.
Production on "When in Rome" will begin on March 31, shooting in New York and, fittingly, Rome.
Most recently seen as part of the "Heroes" ensemble last fall, Bell's best known for her work as the title character in UPN and The CW's "Veronica Mars." She'll play another title character in this spring's Judd Apatow-produced comedy "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
