'Legally Blonde' team is behind the scenes
The project, set up at Lakeshore Entertainment with Sony distributing, reunites director Robert Luketic with "Legally Blonde" scribes Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith.
Production will begin in April.
According to Variety, Heigl will play a producer for a morning television show. Unlucky in love, she decides to put the romantic theories of the show's chauvinistic correspondent (Butler) to the test. Why do we think that his advice may, after much bickering, bringing the two together?

In addition to his starring role in the massive spring 2007 hit "300," Butler helped drive respectable crowds to the December romantic drama "P.S., I Love You." Butler, who just finished work on the action thriller "Game," will next be seen opposite Abigail Breslin and Jodie Foster in "Nim's Island."
