Dominic Sena will direct

It will be a "Gone in 60 Seconds" reunion on the supernatural thriller "Season of the Witch."

According to the industry trades, Nicolas Cage will star in the Relativity Media feature, set to be directed by "60 Seconds" helmer Dominic Sena.

Written by Bragi Schut Jr., the film focuses on a group of 14th century knights transporting a young woman accused of starting the Black Plague. They think she's a witch. We suspect they may be wrong.

Production on "Season of the Witch" -- Will they use the Donovan song? -- will begin in early November in Austria and Hungary.

Cage's latest film, "Bangkok Dangerous," spent one anemic weekend atop the box office before falling dramatically. The "National Treasure" star has "Knowing" in the can and recently signed on for a supporting role in the comic adaptation "Kick-Ass."
