Will co-star alongside 'Gossip Girl' Leighton Meester

"Gossip Girl's" Leighton Meester has a new boy.

Cam Gigandet, who played a villainous vampire in "Twilight," has signed on to play Meester's boyfriend in the thriller "The Roommate," according to Variety.

The movie follows Meester's character as she learns her college roommate has worse habits than drinking the last of the milk. (Spoiler alert: The new roomie is crazy.)

Meester, 23, stars as Blair Waldorf on the CW television series.
