Jackie Chan Is 'The Spy Next Door'
Brian Levant will direct family action-comedy
Set up at Relativity Media, "The Spy Next Door" will be written by Jonathan Bernstein and Jim Greer and directed by Brian Levant ("Are We There Yet?").
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chan will play a man whose responsibility babysitting the kids next door become complicated when one of the children downloads a secret code and a group of secret agents attack.
Chan was last seen in the spring hit "The Forbidden Kingdom," which has made more than $100 million worldwide. His 2007 action-comedy "Rush Hour 3" did even better business, making $255 million worldwide.
"The Shinjuku Incident," an action drama Chan also produced, will be his next feature.
