Martin Lawrence, Tracy Morgan will co-star in remake

Chris Rock will round out the cast of Neil LaBute's "Death at a Funeral" remake.

The comedian will join fellow funnymen Martin Lawrence and Tracy Morgan, according to Variety. "Death," based on a 2007 British movie, follows a dysfunctional family funeral complicated by a stranger who claims to be the deceased's gay lover. Matters are further complicated when the stranger appears to die. No word on which characters Rock, Lawrence and Morgan will play.

Filming begins later this spring.

Rock, 44, lent his voice to 2008's "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa." Lawrence, 43, starred in last year's "Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins," and Morgan, 40, can be seen weekly on "30 Rock."
