Plus, Ice Cube joins 'Ride Along'

She didn't get to direct the "New Moon" sequel "Eclipse," and now Drew Barrymore is "Going the Distance."

Barrymore and "He's Just Not That Into You" co-star Justin Long will play a couple trying to maintain a long-distance relationship after Barrymore's character moves to Chicago, according to Variety. New Line will produce.

In other New Line casting news, Ice Cube will play a loose-cannon cop out to scare away his sister's fiance in the comedy "Ride Along." No word yet on who will play the unlucky guy or Cube's sister.

Barrymore, 34, can next be seen in this year's "Everything's Fine." Long, 30, will co-star this May in the horror film "Drag Me to Hell." Cube, 39, last starred in 2007's "The Longshots."
