Dish Rag: Barrymore in talks to helm 'Twilight' sequel
The Los Angeles Times' Elizabeth Snead reports today that Drew Barrymore has been tapped to direct "Eclipse," the third movie in the "Twilight" series. Chris Weitz, who was tapped to direct "New Moon" after the movie's schedule forced out original director Catherine Hardwicke, apparently will not return for "Eclipse."
The first film began the love story between human Bella ( Kristen Stewart) and vampy Edward ( Robert Pattinson). "New Moon" splits Bella's affection between Edward and werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). "Eclipse" tells of all-out war between the werewolves and vampires.
