Olsen Twins Top Young Hollywood Rich List

They can't drink legally, but they make more than you do

February 28, 2007

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are still the richest young Hollywood stars, just for being themselves.

Forbes magazine ranks the fraternal twins as the No. 1 pick for Young Hollywood's Top-Earning Stars under the age of 21.

The siblings haven't been acting lately, but their Dualstar company is still raking in the dough -- approximately $40 million in 2006 -- from the tween market, which is also emulating their hobo chic style. The Olsens, who last starred in the film "New York Minute," will officially turn 21 on June 13.

Semi-retirement agrees with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen – Forbes magazine ranks them as Hollywood's top-earning stars under the age of 21.

Coming in second is 17-year-old Daniel Radcliffe, the British lad who incarnated the boy Harry Potter for the silver screen adaptations of J.K. Rowling's best-selling books and earned about $13 million last year. Taking a hiatus after filming his latest installment, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," Radcliffe is currently baring all on stage in the drama "Equus."

Best known to American tabloids is Lindsay Lohan, the 20-year-old is currently in rehab with frequent trips out to party. Her career started as a Disney remake starlet ("The Parent Trap," "Freaky Friday") and has morphed into that of an indie drama queen with "A Prairie Home Companion" and "Bobby."

The remainder of the Top 10 is as follows:

4. Dakota Fanning ($4 million) - At 13, the actress has starred in "The Cat in the Hat," "War of the Worlds" and "Charlotte's Web." She's already making her bid to be taken as a serious actress in the upcoming "Hounddog" (aka The Dakota Fanning Rape Project).

5. Amanda Bynes ($2.5 million) - This 20-year-old has had a succesful TV and movie career that includes "The Amanda Show," "What I Like About You," "Big Fat Liar," "What a Girls Wants" and "She's the Man." She next stars in the upcoming remake of "Hairspray."

6. Hayden Panettiere ($2.5 million) - This 17-year-old actress and face of Neutrogena is recognized now as the indestructible cheerleader on NBC's hit show "Heroes." Besides various TV appearances, the actress has also had a healthy movie career that includes "Raising Helen," "Ice Princess" and the straight to video classic "Bring It On: All or Nothing."

7. Vanessa Anne Hudgens ($2 million) - At 18, Hudgens' biggest claim to fame is starring in the Disney Channel's not-so-little film "High School Musical." She's ridden that wave of popularity to guest star on "Drake and Josh" and "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody" and to release her own album.

8. Abigail Breslin ($1.5 million) - This 10-year-old Oscar nominee for "Little Miss Sunshine" is the go-to tween now that Fanning has gradutated into teenager roles (and younger sister Elle Fanning is still on the youngish side). Breslin co-starred with her older brother Spencer Breslin and Panettiere in "Raising Helen."

9. Tyler James Williams ($1.2 million) - At 14, Williams is the face of a young Chris Rock on The CW comedy "Everybody Hates Chris" and last starred in the holiday film "Unaccompanied Minors."

10. Joanna "JoJo" Levesque ($1 million) - This 16-year-old singer is known for her hit "Too Little, Too Late." She's lately taken a turn on the big screen in films such as "Aquamarine" and "RV."
