Sequel to upcoming comedy already in the works
Warner Bros. has already commissioned a sequel to the comedy, which doesn't open in theaters until June 5, according to Variety.
WB isn't the only studio gambling millions on anticipated audience approval: A sequel is also already being written for Paramount's "Star Trek" reboot, which beams down May 8.
"The Hangover" follows three groomsmen -- played by Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis -- whose Las Vegas bachelor party is so successful they lose the groom and must retrace their hazy, alcohol-dimmed exploits to find him.
