'Sweeney Todd' Couple Has Baby Girl
Helena Bonham Carter and Tim Burton also have a son together
Helena Bonham Carter and director Tim Burton are enjoying the fruits of their collaborations a week apart.The Hollywood couple welcomed their second child together on Saturday, Dec. 15, about a week before their movie, "Sweeney Todd," hits theaters nationwide, reports People.
The child is a baby girl, who was born in London and joins 4-year-old brother Billy Raymond Burton, whose godfather is frequent Burton collaborator Johnny Depp. No name has been released yet.
"They are absolutely delighted they have a daughter," says the actress' rep, Karon Maskill. "It's a lovely Christmas present for the family."
Bonham Carter, 41, and Burton, 49, met on the set of his "Planet of the Apes" remake. Since then, she has appeared in all his subsequent films including "Big Fish," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Corpse Bride" and his adaptation of "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street," which also co-stars Depp.
They were named separately for Golden Globe nominations for their work on the film -- Burton for best director, and Bonham Carter for best actress. The quirky couple lives in adjoining houses connected by a hallway.
"Sweeney Todd" opens nationwide on Friday, Dec. 21.
