Holmes, Reilly, Kline, Dano Join 'The Extra Man'

Stars will help adapt Jonathan Ames novel
Katie Holmes, John C. Reilly, Kevin Kline and Paul Dano have signed on to star in the adaptation of Jonathan Ames' novel "The Extra Man," according to Variety.
Ames' book follows the adventures of a naive young man paired as roommates with a libertine who works as an "extra man," a male escort for wealthy older women. Kline will play the title character, with Dano as his un-worldly new roommate. No word on what roles Holmes and Reilly will play.
Kline, 61, could be seen last year in "Definitely, Maybe." Dano, 24, had a large role in "There Will Be Blood." Reilly, 43, starred in last year's "Step Brothers." Holmes, 30, had a guest role this season on "Eli Stone."
