Matt Czuchry, Jesse Bradford and Geoff Stults will star in 'I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell'

Matt Czuchry, Jesse Bradford and Geoff Stults have signed on to star in "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell," based on the Tucker Max memoir.

Max, who turned a brief period of fame for his booze-and-sex-filled blogging into a book deal and several film projects, wrote the script with Nils Parker.

Czuchry will play the author in the dark comedy, which follows Max's adventures at his best friend's bachelor party and subsequent chaotic wedding. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bradford and Stults will play two of Max's friends, with Keri Lynn Pratt and Denise Quinones rounding out the cast.

Production on "I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell" will begin in Louisiana later this month with Bob Gosse directing.

The film is being financed by Darko Entertainment, with the shingle's Richard Kelly, Sean McKittrick and Ted Hamm producing.

Czuchry is best known for his small screen work on "Gilmore Girls," "Veronica Mars" and "Friday Night Lights."

One of the stars of ABC's "October Road," Stults has completed work on the features "The Express" and "She's Out of My League," while Bradford ("The West Wing") has finished the features "The Echo" and Oliver Stone's "W."
