James Bond fans will have to travel across The Pond if they want to experience "Quantum of Solace" early.

According to the industry trades, the 22nd James Bond film is now scheduled to open on October 31 in England, one week ahead of its Nov. 7 release date in the United States and the rest of North America.

Several European territories including France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany will also get the new 007 pic a day or two earlier than its domestic release.

This will be Daniel Craig's second turn as James Bond, following up the blockbuster success of "Casino Royale."

In "Quantum," which takes its title, but not its plot from an Ian Fleming short story, the action picks up with Bond dealing with the events of the earlier film, particularly the fate of Eva Green's Vesper Lynd.

Olga Kurylenko plays a mysterious woman named Camille, who leads Bond to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a business man at the head of a vast international crime syndicate.

Production on "Quantum of Solace" is now underway with Marc Forster directing.
