Kate, Rooney line up high-profile roles

Kate Mara and younger sister Rooney will be able to compare notes on their high-profile projects.

Kate has been cast in superhero sequel "Iron Man 2," according to The Hollywood Reporter. No word yet on what her role will be.

Rooney, meanwhile, is rumored to be in final talks to headline the "Nightmare on Elm Street" reboot as Nancy, the final girl originally played by Heather Langenkamp.

Kate, 26, co-starred in 2008's " Transsiberian." Rooney had a recurring role on "ER."
