Actress is officially single

Kate Hudson, star of "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," has finally gotten rid of her married status.

The 28-year-old actress and her rocker husband, Chris Robinson, are officially single after signing the divorce papers on Monday, Oct. 22, report news sources.

Robinson, 40, is the frontman for The Black Crowes and had a signed a prenup that won't give him spousal support. The former couple will share joint custody of their son, Ryder, 3.

The pair had a whirlwind courtship, with Hudson moving in with Robinson after only a few days. They were married on New Year's Eve 2000 in Aspen, Colorado. They split in August 2006, around the time that Hudson was promoting her latest comedy, "You, Me and Dupree," which co-starred her later boyfriend Owen Wilson. Robinson filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences that November.

Since then, Hudson dated and then broke up with Wilson, who later famously attempted suicide. She then began dating "Punk'd" star Dax Shepard.

The actress is currently filming "Bachelor No. 2" with Dane Cook. Her other credits include "Raising Helen," "Alex & Emma" and "The Skeleton Key."
