'Gossip Girl' star is in talks to headline college thriller

In what's practically a documentary for some of us, "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester may learn college roommates can be murder.

Meester, 22, would play a college student who is randomly assigned a freshman roommate in, well, "The Roommate," according to The Hollywood Reporter. It goes without saying Meester's new roomie engages in activities rather more dangerous than just eating the peanut butter clearly marked with Meester's name.
