Will co-star in Steve Carell/Tina Fey comedy
Mark Wahlberg and James Franco have signed on to the cast of the Carell-Fey comedy "Date Night," sources say.
Carell and Fey play a married couple whose routine date night takes a turn for the exciting. Wahlberg will co-star as an unhinged security guard, with Franco as a dim-witted thug. Filming should begin this spring for a 2010 release.
Wahlberg, 37, will co-star in this year's "The Lovely Bones." Franco, 30, had a role in 2008's Oscar-winning film "Milk."
