'Spider-Man 4' release date announced
Sorry, True Believers, you'll have to wait a bit longer for your favorite mighty Marvel superheroes."The Avengers," "Thor" and "The First Avenger: Captain America" will be pushed back, according to Variety. "Captain America" will leap from its May 2011 date to July 22, 2011, and "Thor" will hold his hammer more than a year, from July 16, 2010, to July 17, 2011. "The Avengers" will also be delayed almost a year, from July 15, 2011, to May 4, 2012.
The good news is that fellow Marvel hero Spider-Man has a fourth movie release date set: May 6, 2011, "Captain America's" original debut date.
"Iron Man 2," which just added Mickey Rourke and Scarlett Johansson to the cast, will hold steady at May 7, 2010. Excelsior!
