Neal McDonough will play the villainous Bison in Hyde Park's upcoming "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li."

Bison is the enemy of Chun-Li, who will be played by Kristin Kreuk.

Other previously announced castmembers include Chris Klein as Nash, Oscar nominee Michael Clarke Duncan as Balrog and Rick Yune as Gen, plus Moon Bloodgood, Taboo, Edmund Chen and Cheng Pei Pei.

Andrzej Bartkowiak is directing, with Dion Lam handling the fight sequences in the Justin Marks scripted project, which will be the second attempt to turn the popular video game franchise into a big screen success. A 1994 dud starred Jean-Claude Van Damme, Ming-Na and the late Raul Julia as Bison.

Since it premiered in 1987, "Street Fighter" has become one of the most successful video game franchises of all-time, moving 25 million units and generating more than $1 billion in revenue.

McDonough is probably best known for TV turns in "Boomtown," "Medical Investigation," "Traveler," "Tin Man" and the HBO miniseries "Band of Brothers." He was most recently seen on the big screen in "I Know Who Killed Me," "The Hitcher" and "Flags of Our Fathers."
