'Transformers' star will lead kidnap thriller

Let's face it: You'd probably watch Megan Fox read the phone book.

She's not, though. For her latest, Fox will play a woman whose husband has been kidnapped while in Mexico, according to The Hollywood Reporter. To save him, she apparently must work as a drug mule, hence the title "The Crossing."

Production is tentatively scheduled to begin later this summer.

Fox, 22, co-stars this summer in "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen."
