'Sweeney Todd' co-star signs on for 'Twilight' sequel

The vampires of "New Moon" have named their leader.

Jamie Campbell Bower has signed on to play Caius, leader of the Volturi vampire council. He'll be joined by Dakota Fanning -- whose vampire elder Jane brings judgment on the forbidden love between teen human Bella ( Kristen Stewart) and secret vampire Edward ( Robert Pattinson) -- and Canadian model Noot Seear as Heidi, a so-called "fisher" who captures humans as food for her vampire masters.

The "Twilight" sequel hits theaters Nov. 20.

Bower is no stranger to the dark side: The actor, 20, co-starred as Anthony Hope alongside Johnny Depp in 2007's "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street."
