Righetti's credits also include 'North Shore' and 'Entourage'

Amanda Righetti, veteran of a series of FOX offerings, has signed on for the sequel "Return to House on Haunted Hill."

According to Variety, Righetti will play the female lead in the Dark Castle Pictures and Silver Entertainment production, which will be directed by Victor Garcia.

And what does Righetti get as a prize? A trip to Sofia, Bulgaria where the sequel will begin shooting on Sept. 11.

The 1999 "House on Haunted Hill" starred Oscar winner Geoffrey Rush along with non-Oscar winners Famke Janssen, Taye Diggs and Chris Kattan. It made more than $40 million in its domestic run.

Righetti's run of FOX shows began with a recurring part as the scheming Hailey Nichol on "The O.C.," followed by a regular gig as the scheming Tessa Lewis on "North Shore." Last season, she co-starred on "Reunion" as Jenna Moretti, who probably would have done some scheming if the show hadn't been prematurely cancelled.

If you paid close attention, you may have scene Righetti very briefly in the third season premiere of HBO's "Entourage."
