Julia Roberts Enters the 'Hothouse'
Star will also produce 'Flowers'
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Roberts would play a recently divorced Manhattan ad exec who decides to turn in life around in ways that we're sure are unusual and highly symbolic.
As you may have heard, there's a writers strike afoot, so no scribe has been attached to "Hothouse Flowers," at least not officially.
Joining Roberts on the film's production team are Joe Roth and Suzanne and Jennifer Todd.
Columbia Pictures will distribute.
Roberts earned a Golden Globe nomination for her recent turn in "Charlie Wilson's War." The "Pretty Woman" and "Mary Reilly" star has already completed work on the indie ensemble "Fireflies in the Garden." She'll next turn her attentions to the thriller "Duplicity," reuniting her with "Closer" co-star Clive Owen.
