Rose McGowan Engaged to Her 'Grindhouse' Director
She and Robert Rodriguez plan on a second movie together
The actress and the director are engaged, reports People.
The couple met when Rodriguez directed her in the "Planet Terror" portion of the "Grindhouse" double feature he did with Quentin Tarantino.
At first, rumors speculated that their relationship had broken up Rodriguez' 16-year marriage to Elizabeth Avellan, but the production partners released a statement claiming that the marriage was on the rocks long before production on "Planet Terror." They still plan on producing "Sin City 2" and have five children together: sons Rocket, Racer, Rebel, Rogue and daughter Rhiannon.
McGowan, 34, was previously engaged to rocker Marilyn Manson. Her other credits include "Encino Man," "Scream," "Jawbreaker" and "The Black Dahlia." She's also known as Paige on "Charmed."
Rodriguez, 39, has cast McGowan in the title role of his remake of "Barbarella." His other films include "El Mariachi," "From Dusk Till Dawn," "Scream 2," the "Spy Kids" franchise and "Sin City."
