Scorsese is attached to direct, with De Niro playing Sheeran. In addition, Scorsese would produce through his Sikelia Prods. banner along with De Niro and Jane Rosenthal's Tribeca shingle.
Teamings for De Niro and Scorsese include "Goodfellas," "Raging Bull," "Casino," "Cape Fear," "The King of Comedy" and "Mean Streets."
Scorsese finally won his best directing Oscar for his last narrative feature, "The Departed." He's in post-production on "Shutter Island," another thriller starring DiCaprio.
