Aniston-Vaughn Engagement Rumors Fly
Just because we report it, doesn't mean we believe it (or care)
Are Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn engaged? US Weekly sure thinks so, even if nobody else seems to agree.Actually, US Weekly doesn't necessarily think the couple is engaged so much as the supermarket glossy thinks they're getting married someday, which is hardly the same thing.
According to US Weekly Aniston and Vaughn spent a recent week in Mexico. Although both actors have refused to confirm to the press that they're even in a relationship, Aniston apparently told a friend, "We're getting married," so says an unnamed source, whose ties to the couple aren't mentioned.
Note, again, that nobody said anything about an engagement.
US Weekly was also able to dig up quotes from Mexican hotel employees (also unnamed) reporting that Vaughn and Aniston were quiet guests.
"They seemed in love," says a Cabo San Lucas hotel employee.
And who would know better than a Cabo San Lucas hotel employee?
As always, in such cases, it's important to go to the other glossy supermarket tabloids to get some sort of consensus toward the truth. People offers no help, concentrating on Star Jones and Katharine McPhee. In Touch also has more important things to deal with, asking "Is David Hasselhoff writing his own musical?" and "Does Adrian Grenier's mom market her own granola?" The answers are "Yes" and "Yes." And Life & Style has something about Brad finally putting his foot down about Angelina's adoption habits. And Star is touting information about Keira Knightley's anorexia or lack thereof.
Stay tuned. We'll be sure to let you know as soon as Vaughn and Aniston even admit that they know each other.
