Paul Walker and Vin Diesel Are 'Furious' Again
Original stars return for fourth 'Fast and the Furious' film
Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are reportedly in negotiations to star in a fourth film in the "Fast and the Furious" franchise.According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" writer Chris Morgan and director Justin Lin are attached to return for "4 Fast 4 Furious" as well.
Nobody knows anything about the plot, but we can't help but appreciate the simplicity of the HR assessment that "The story line is being kept under wraps, but fast cars are involved."
Production could be ready to go by spring in a variety of locations including Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
Walker and Diesel starred in 2001's "Fast and the Furious," which made $144 million worldwide. Diesel opted not to return for the 2003 sequel, which did $236 million worldwide. "Tokyo Drift," which starred neither Walker nor Diesel, did only $158 million worldwide, despite a heavily promoted end-of-film cameo by Diesel.
Since ceasing to be fast and/or furious, Diesel had his biggest hit with 2005's "The Pacifier," while Walker's largest non-street racing hit was the doggie pic "Eight Below."
