Curtis Jackson will two Oscar winners in "Righteous Kill"

The long awaited big screen union of Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson may soon be upon us.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the bestselling rapper and "Get Rich or Die Trying" star is close to joining "Righteous Kill," a thriller set to be the first sustained pairing of Oscar winners Pacino and DeNiro.

Recently picked up by Overture Films, the $60 million film will be directed by Jon Avnet from a script by Russell Gewirtz.

Pacino and DeNiro, who shared a lone seen in "Heat," will play detectives on the trail of a serial killer. Jackson will play a drug dealer who helps the authorities.

Other acting credits for Jackson include the drama "Home of the Brave."
