Casting Call: 'SNL' stars join 'Grown Ups,' 'Going the Distance'
Adam Sandler's "Grown Ups" is getting funnier.
Comedian Tim Meadows has joined the cast of Sandler's ensemble comedy "Grown Ups," according to The Hollywood Reporter.
No word on what role Meadows will play; the film already boasts a cast including Kevin James, Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and David Spade.
The movie is set for a June 25, 2010, release date.
-- Speaking of "Saturday Night Live," THR says "SNL" co-star Jason Sudeikis is in talks to join Drew Barrymore in "Going the Distance."
The comedy follows a couple (Barrymore and Justin Long) who attempt a long-distance relationship with, presumably, hilarious results. Sudeikis would play a friend of Long's opposed to the relationship.
Sudeikis recently joined Jennifer Aniston for the comedy "Bounty Hunter."
