Queen Latifah's new love is anything but common. No, wait, he is Common.

The Chicago rapper-turned-actor has signed on to play Latifah's love interest in the romantic comedy "Just Wright," according to Variety.

The story follows an athletic trainer (Latifah) who finds herself falling for a basketball player (Common) while she rehabs him.

Filming begins this summer in New York City.

Common also stretched his acting muscles in "Terminator Salvation," "Street Kings" and "Wanted."
