We have never more wanted to visit Wonderland.

USA Today has posted a series of images from Tim Burton's upcoming "Alice in Wonderland." Among them are darkly lush looks at some of Wonderland's landscapes, not surprising when associated with the Burton name.

Also very Burton? The pictures of Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen.

Depp in particular looks perfectly twisted:

Burton's "Wonderland" follows Alice, now a teen, who finds herself returned to Wonderland with no memory of her childhood adventures there. The movie opens March 5, 2010.
