Jennifer Aniston Loves 'Girls'
The period drama is set up at DreamWorks
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the project is based on Skip Hollandsworth's 2003 Texas Monthly article "O Sister Where Art Thou" and is set up at DreamWorks.
"Goree Girls" focuses on an octet of prisoners from Texas' Goree Prison. During the 1940s, they forced a country-and-western ensemble and traveled the country.
The film is currently seeking a director, though Aniston will produce along with shingle partner Kristin Hahn.
Most recently seen in a cameo on FX's "Dirt," Aniston's recent feature credits include "The Break-Up," "Friends with Money" and "Rumor Has It."
