Faris Wheels and Deals with Happy Madison
'Scary' star will play a former centerfold
This would be the first collaboration between Faris and Happy Madison since the glory days of "The Hot Chick."
According to the industry trade papers, Paramount Pictures has snagged rights to the project, which is based on an idea by Faris and a script by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith.
The plot revolves around a former centerfold (Faris) forced to take a job as den mother at a wicked lame UCLA sorority. Why is she forced to take such a goofy job? Dunno, but hilarity inevitably ensues.
In addition to starring, Faris will take an executive producer credit.
Nobody saw "My Super Ex-Girlfriend," but that's where Faris would have been last seen. The star of all four "Scary Movie" comedies has also appeared in the Oscar-winning films "Brokeback Mountain" and "Lost in Translation."
Faris' upcoming films include "Smiley Face" and "Mama's Boy."
