'The A-Team' Movie Moves Forward
'80s TV series gets another shot at the big screen
Sources say the long-stalled movie version of the 1980s television series has been revived again, this time at Fox with "Smokin' Aces" director Joe Carnahan behind the camera. No details have emerged as to the film's plot, though "G.I. Joe" writer Skip Woods gets credit for the script. A tentative release date has been set for 2010.
As television viewers of the '80s know, the A-Team was an elite squad of soldiers arrested for a crime they did not commit. They escaped to Los Angeles where Hannibal, Face, Howlin' Mad Murdock and of course B.A. "Bad Attitude" Baracus (Mr. T) would help those in need... if you could find them.
