'Sopranos' Veterans Go Into 'Mourning'
Lorraine Bracco and Jamie-Lynn Sigler join Joseph Cross and Heather Graham in 'Son of Mourning'
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Sopranos" co-stars Lorraine Bracco and Jamie-Lynn Sigler have booked roles in the indie comedy "Son of Mourning."
The film focuses on a disaffected advertising copywriter (Joseph Cross) who returns home -- yes, it's that kind of indie film -- to deal with his parents' divorce. Then, though, the trade paper says that the locals mistake him for a spiritual savior of sorts. That's a little different.
Bracco and Sigler will play the main character's mother and love interest.
Also booked for Yaniv Raz's feature debut is Heath Graham.
"Son of Mourning" is already shooting in Florida.
Bracco earned four Emmy nominations for her work on "The Sopranos," while she earned an Oscar nod for "Goodfellas." She was most recently seen on the series "Lipstick Jungle."
Other credits for Sigler include the feature "New York Serenade" and the telefilm "Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss."
