The 44-year-old actor and his wife, photographer Lisa Marie, welcomed a daughter into the world on Tuesday, April 24th in Los Angeles, reports People.
The baby girl, Dominique, was born at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and weighed 7 lbs., 2 oz.
Elwes and Lisa Marie nee Kurbikoff met in 1991 at a Malibu chili cook-off. They were engaged in 1997 and tied the knot three years later.
The actor's resume includes "The Princess Bride," "The Crush," "Robin Hood: Men in Tights," "Liar, Liar" and "Saw." He next appears alongside Lindsay Lohan, Jane Fonda and Felicity Huffman in "Georgia Rule," opening nationwide on Friday, May 11. "The Alphabet Killer," his thriller in which he stars opposite Eliza Dushku, will get a fall release.
