Will co-star in Angelina Jolie spy thriller

Chiwetel Ejiofor is out to get Angelina Jolie.

The English actor has agreed to co-star in "Salt," according to Variety. The film follows Jolie as Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent accused of being a Russian spy. As you might expect, that means she needs to work against her own agency to unravel a plot to assassinate the president. Ejiofor will play a CIA agent assigned to catch Evelyn.

Liev Schreiber has already signed on as Salt's former mentor (and, incidentally, Ejiofor's CIA boss). Shooting begins in March.

Ejiofor, 34, starred in 2008's "Redbelt."
