'No Country for Old Men' directors will remake John Wayne classic

Joel and Ethan Coen are headed west again.

The Coen Brothers, directors of the 2007 neo-Western "No Country for Old Men," will remake the classic John Wayne movie "True Grit," according to Variety. While the 1969 movie followed Rooster Cogburn (Wayne, in a role that won him that year's Oscar for best actor), a U.S. Marshal hired by a teen girl to find her father's killer, the remake will focus more on the girl's story.

No word on who will star, or when the film will begin shooting.

The Coens were also behind the camera for 2008's "Burn After Reading."
