Musician and his wife are also parents to twins
The musician-actor and his wife Ashley Harper are expecting their third child this summer, reports People.
The couple, who married in August 2000, are also the parents of 5-year-old twin girls: Grace Anne and Stella Busina.
Matthews, 40, earned two Grammys, first with his band for best rock group performance on "So Much to Say," and then an individual Grammy for his male rock vocal performance for 2003's "Gravedigger."
He's also tried his hand at acting and made his big-screen debut in the adaptation of the Newberry Honor book "Because of Winn-Dixie," playing an ex-con who owns a pet shop and plays guitar. He's also wrapped shooting on the upcoming indie film "Lake City," which stars Sissy Spacek, Troy Garrity and Rebecca Romijn.
Matthews also makes a guest appearance in March on FOX's medical drama "House" as a patient.
