Pair will star in bounty-hunter comedy for Columbia

Jennifer Aniston will take to the big screen with Gerard Butler, though presumably she'll spend much of that time running from him.

Butler will play a bounty hunter tasked with tracking down ex-wife Aniston in an as-yet-untitled film for Columbia, according to Variety. Seeing as it's a romantic comedy, hilarity and possibly reconciliation ensue. "Fool's Gold" and "Hitch" director Andy Tennant will take the reins.

Former "Friends" star Aniston, 39, hits the big screen later this month in " Marley & Me." Butler, also 39, showed off his abs as King Leonidas in "300."
