Lindsay Lohan Extends Rehab, Makes Birthday Plans
Actress is 'doing great' at the Malibu facility
Not only did the starlet cancel her 21st birthday bash at a Vegas nightclub, but now she's decided to extend her stay at the Promises drug and alcohol treatement center, report celebrity news sources.
"I talk to her every day," Dina Lohan tells People. "She's going to do Promises' extended care program."
After a wild Memorial holiday weekend during which she was booked on suspicion of DUI after she crashed her Mercedes into a stand of trees on Sunset Blvd. The Beverly Hills Police Department also reportedly found a "usable amount" of cocaine in a subsequent search.
Lohan was originally expected to spend 30 days at the facility with a release in late June, but now she's going to take on a 12-step program and group therapy.
The "Georgia Rule" actress, who turns 21 on Monday, July 2, is also thinking of alternate plans for her birthday celebration after she backed out of her bash with Las Vegas nightclub Pure. Instead, Lohan is reportedly going to spending time with family outside of Promises.
On July 27, Lohan's latest film, the thriller "I Know Who Killed Me," will be released.
