Lohan Arrested After Saturday Accident
Busted for DUI, but other charges may be pending
The 20-year-old star was briefly hospitalized after the accident, which took place on Sunset Blvd at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Saturday. According to media reports, the car sustained "major collision damage," but Lohan's injuries -- to her upper chest area -- merited treatment, but weren't considered serious.

Making matters worse, though, was the fact that Beverly Hills Police Department officers reportedly found a "usable amount" of cocaine in a subsequent search, though the specifics of where the contraband were recovered are a little vague (all we know is that it was not on Lohan's person).
Lohan was only cited and released on the misdemeanor DUI, though other charges could clearly be pending. The "Georgia Rule" star has a tentative arraignment date of Aug. 24.
While Lohan's personal life has been tumultuous, this is her first run-in on the wrong side of the law. Since 2005, the actress has been involved in multiple car accidents, both involving other cars that were deemed to be at fault. In January, Lohan checked herself into the Wonderland rehabilitation center for treatment and her subsequent Alcoholics Anonymous meetings were decidedly not anonymous.
