Bening film will have to find a new actress

Lindsay Lohan won't become "A Woman of No Importance" after all.

Amidst a busy production schedule and with a wave of publicity on tap, the actress has dropped out of a co-starring role opposite Annette Bening in "A Woman of No Importance."

"She doesn't want to just yes everyone and compromise herself anymore," Lohan's publicist, Leslie Sloane tells People. "If anything has been learned, it's that what she needs comes first -- and right now she needs focus."

Lohan is currently shooting "I Know Who Killed Me," a film that's been put on hold on several occasions for Lohan-related troubles. In early January, Lohan had surgery to have her appendix removed and then, less than two weeks later, the actress checked herself into rehab at the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles.

Although Lohan returned to work on "I Know Who Killed Me" last week, she decided that a few weeks off after production would better prepare her for the publicity gauntlet for her troubled "Georgia Rule."
